That is, of course, ready for Thanksgiving – and the shopping spree that follows it! First, let’s talk about that favorite family get-together. Do you have the table linens, dishes and décor you need to set a gracious vintage table?
Vintage Finders Warehouse is bursting with hand-embroidered and brightly-printed tablecloths and napkins from the 1940s, ‘50s and ‘60s. Why buy something made in China at a big box store when you can buy good old-fashioned, American-made goods that are sure, today, to be one-of-a kind? Your guests will surely be impressed.
Do you have enough chairs and side tables for all your guests? Do you like the ones you have but they’re just too … well … brown? We can solve all those problems with plenty of small furnishing throughout the shop, and, as most of you know, Diane loves picking up her brush to give an old piece new life with chalk paint!
There are also plenty of casserole dishes (Pyrex, naturally!), platters, serving dishes, glassware, cutlery and vases for your centerpiece. Oh, and do not miss the darling little china turkeys, with a delicate pink floral pattern, that will hold your elegant new napkins in place …
Once you’re made your Thanksgiving plans, don’t forget to strategize for that holiday shopping. We’ll be celebrating Small Business Saturday the weekend after Thanksgiving, on Nov. 24. Check us out for special sales and gifts for everyone – we’ve got toys for the kids, petroliana and fun vintage tools for the men, and all kinds of smalls for the ladies, from Victoriana wall art to vintage clothing to charming holiday decorations.
Remember to check out our Facebook page to see our live broadcasts every Wednesday at 10 AM. We’re never quite sure what we’re going to say, but we always have a good time!
We are open Thursday 9am to 2pm Friday Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM, or by appointment by calling (941) 423-9000.
